My Biography
Kaela Valdes is a licensed Realtor with two-decades plus experience in residential, commercial and investment real estate transactions in addition to foreclosure and short sale transactions. She is a Member of the Commercial Brokers Association, the National Association of Realtors and The Council of Residential Specialists. Active in the community she has served Seven years on The HOA Board of Directors. Most recently Kaela received the distinctive honor of being named Five Star best in customer satisfaction in Seattle Magazine, for the fifth year.
Growing up in Issaquah the, eldest of four children and daughter of local business owners, Kaela recognized the importance of creating wealth through real state ownership. While in still in High School Kaela worked as part time as a real-estate assistant for a few seasoned agents. “I had the privilege, to be mentored by some of the best agents in our city with Windermere, Coldwell Banker and John L Scott watching and learning from each. While most of my friends wanted a car I wanted real-estate. Just before my 18th birthday I was able to realize my dream and purchase my first home.”
Soon after purchasing her second home Kaela realized she had a knack working with distressed and bank owned properties. She created her own company that specialized selling bank-owned homes, foreclosure properties and conducting short-sale transactions for the benefit of investors. In the late 90’s when the market began to change and distressed properties became less and less common, Kaela used her skill set and help individuals apply investment principals towards purchasing their first homes. After obtaining her certification as a real-estate agent in 1998 she began her career as a Realtor with Coldwell Banker. During her time with Coldwell Banker she began working with commercial real-estate and management, an area of real-estate that she now specializes in.
Dedicated to excellence Kaela continues her education on current issues thus earning her Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation in 2000 and her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) credential in 2013. In 2006 Kaela joined the Keller Williams Realty family, where she remains today. Kaela says “I couldn’t be more please to be with such a great brokerage and am proud to be part of such a fine group of professionals” In the years 2009,2010,2012,2014 & 2015 Kaela was selected for Seattle Magazines’ Best in Client Satisfaction, a designation enjoyed by only 7% of local real estate agents. Recently celebrating her fifth year being acknowledged with this award.
